REINOL in cooperation with partners in the cosmetic sector has studied and created some products that may be considered as the “natural offspring” of olive oil. Using pure Italian olive oil as a base, a series of cosmetic raw materials that maintain its qualitative and functional properties are created. Thanks to their functionality and proved efficacy, these products are becoming increasingly more popular with cosmetic formulators.

REINOLDERM OLV3

Is a water soluble derivative from olive oil. Olive oil is the best knownand most commonly used vegetal lipid in the food and diet industries due to its extraordinary nutritional and salutary properties. It has also been successfully used in therapeutical and dermatological applications

REINOLDERM OLV4

In the formulation of rinsing products such as shampoos, bath and showerfoams and intimate cleansers, it is now possible to create new formulations with a lower value of active washing substance: this gives a better compliance, more safety and tolerance to the products in which the functionality is not compromised.

REINOLDERM OLV5

A fundamental characteristic of amphoteric surfactants is that as theycontain both ionic groups (anionic and cationic), their behaviour is influenced by pH of the solution in which they are present. The base fatty radicals of those surfactants are fundamentally derived from natural fatty acids that are already transformed into ammines. The ammines become amphoteric surfactants with the addition of an acid group that quite simply occurs through a reaction with chloro-acetic acid. The majority of amphoteric surfactants available today can be structurally considered as being derived from glycine

REINOLDERM OLV7

Works by forming liquid crystals in emulsions. In fact it places itself atthe interfacies of a two phases system in a preferential direction, with the polar head into the aqueous phase and the apolar tail into the lipidic one. The post- micellar organisation of REINOLDERM OLV7 in water is the typical structure of a liquid crystal reticule, where the bilayer micelles create a multilayer lamellar formation.

REINOLWAX LQ

Chemically it is a combination of C16-18 fatty alcohol and an originalC12-16 alcohol, both ethoxylated and of plant origin. The INCI name isCETEARETH-20, CETEARETH-2. The unusual properties of this emulsifier are attributableto the particular ethylene-oxide distribution of its components.
