Caps are
manufactured from aluminium with thickness about 220 microns preliminarily
painted on both sides. Caps have lengths varying from 2 cm to 6 cm (wines and spirits)
The
painting process takes place on aluminium coil or sheet feed substrate, after this process the outer side
of the caps can be finished by “Side wall” coatings application.
Caps are
protected by applying an outer coating for two reasons: after moulding
aluminium looks opaque and has a loose grain, moreover it is necessary to print
on caps logos or colours by inks.
